“Mustard” has the courage to ask the question, then ask Oscar Mayer’s Wienermobile to spice up the proposition
Many couples have had their spring and summer wedding plans changed or canceled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, but the proposal season is fast approaching.
Oscar Mayer believes using his iconic Wienermobile as a backdrop will spice up any marriage proposal. The Wienermobile was on hiatus for the past 6 months due to COVID-19, but is now back in the country.
This offer was inspired by Oscar Mayer Hotdogger “Zach n Cheese,” who proposed to his girlfriend from Yellowstone National Park last week with the help of the 27-foot hot dog on wheels. (A Hotdogger is a driver of Wienermobiles.)
Hot dog fans – and lovers – can request the Wienermobile to make their proposal even more memorable. Best of all, it’s free.
Requests will be accepted depending on the availability of the Wienermobile. Those selected will be notified the week before the requested date.
For a better chance of your application being accepted, Oscar Mayer asks you to submit your application 3 to 12 months before the proposal date.
If you just want to see the Wienermobile, but aren’t asking the big question anytime soon (or already asked), you can go online and find out where the six available Wienermobiles will appear next. The website says “The Wienermobile tours all year round. Our calendar is published over a two month period with addresses and timetables updated two weeks before each event.
