The Women Seeking God Conference was started five years ago by a group of local women representing several different churches, to create a local and affordable Christian conference option. It is an opportunity for women of all faiths and ages to fellowship together locally for worship and teaching that is appropriate for women wherever they are in their journey of faith.
Tera Elness, from Windom, is well known in the region as a speaker and preacher. She spoke at the inaugural conference five years ago. Elness addresses real issues that apply to women’s lives.
This year’s theme is “Bloom” and Elness will examine different women in the Bible, showing how God has helped them to thrive in different situations and how we too can “flourish” in any season of our time. life.
DeYounge is an inspired worship leader, blending songs, ideas and Bible verses to bring her audience to a meaningful time of worshiping the Lord. Together, she and Elness will point out to us the true source of refreshment: the Lord.
We’ll also hear from Jill Koopman, talking about her journey through terribly difficult times in her life and a period of healing, and Jenna Bents, who will share her adoption journey.
