Nebraska Farm Bureau Names Class of 2022 Leadership Academy | Local news from the Big Island


Lisa Griess, member of the Clay County Farm Bureau, lives in Sutton. She has been involved in agricultural opportunities for many years and is currently working in a community bank. She is secretary / treasurer of the Clay County Farm Bureau.

Amy Musgrave, member of the Clay County Farm Bureau, lives in Ong. Born and raised in Nebraska, she also spent a few years in Oklahoma and Missouri studying agriculture at land grant universities. She and her husband operate a diverse livestock operation. Musgrave is currently chairman of the Clay County Farm Bureau.

Cory Johnson, member of the Wolf County Farm Bureau, lives in Burwell. He is a diverse fourth generation farmer and rancher and fifth generation contract harvester. Johnson is president of the Wolf County Farm Bureau.

Cierra Fischer, member of the Polk County Farm Bureau, lives in Osceola. She was raised on her family farm and grew up around poultry, cattle, horses and pigs. She is currently involved in the management and operation of her family’s henhouses.

Steven Fuxa, member of the Butler County Farm Bureau, lives in David City. A longtime resident of Butler County, he operates Railside Farms LLC, a diverse farming and ranching operation.
