Ash Lomberg will take on van der Goot’s previous role as Senior Director, joining Chargebee’s growing European team.
These strategic appointments come at a time of exponential growth for Chargebee, which recently announced $250 million in funding and the acquisition of customer loyalty leader Brightback and collection management platform numberz. These appointments will reinforce the company’s plans to bring additional investments and resources to the EMEA region, including new data centers, more local offices and deeper technology integrations to meet the unique payment challenges of each region. .
Van der Goot is a seasoned business leader with over a decade of experience in payments and e-commerce. He developed his passion for fintech during his two-year stint at buy-it-now and pay-later giant Klarna, where he was responsible for expanding the company’s partner ecosystem in the Netherlands. Netherlands, Germany and the Nordic countries. He also held key management positions at 2Checkout, Cleverbridge and more recently at Chargify before joining Chargebee in 2020.
